Peter Wadewitz is the Managing Director of
Peats Soil and Garden Supplies as well as Biobin Technologies
Pty Ltd.
Peter has been working in the horticultural
industry for over 30 years. His energy and commitment to the
environment goes beyond composting and encompasses all areas of
environmental sustainability.
Peter gives his time freely and during his
career has been an important part of the environmental landscape
in South Australia. His commitment to the growth and prosperity
of the organic recycling industry has led to his appointments at
the Barton Group – Export Task Force and the Prime Ministers
Science, Engineering and Innovation Council.
Peter is also the inaugural chairman of
Compost Australia and has being a leading figure in the
development of the Australian Compost Road Map.
We congratulate Peter Wadewitz on winning
the Environment Award in recognition of his humble nature and no
nonsense approach to environmental improvement, making him an
invaluable asset in the reduction of South Australia’s
ecological footprint.
