The BiobiN name is a registered mark under the terms of the Madrid Agreement and Protocol.

During the design of the BiobiN ® five major issues were addressed:

  • The collection system had to satisfy all Bio-Security requirements between properties.
  • All odours had to be removed or significantly reduced.
  • Fly and rodent contamination had to be eliminated.
  • All Occupational Health and Safety issues had to be addressed for the handling of decomposing chickens.
  • All unwanted disease and bacteria had to be eliminated.

Steel Bin: Standard steel bin with lid and rubber seals for air tight features. The bin lids have hinges on them for opening and closing.

Blower: Electric single phase engine that works on the AC power current. The engine can be plugged into a standard household power socket

Biofilter: Uses organic compost plus woody materials (wood chips, saw dust etc) Particle size of these woody materials should be no more than 25 mm in length and width (half the size of a matchbox) The biofilter boxes are made from plastic, stainless steel or mild black steel dependant upon application.
